i was talking to a cop yesterday, about our local crime issues and he told me about an event recently where he processed the suspect of a burglary, the householder was on premises at the time of the break , but did not directly confront the burglar..
All lights were off in residence and it was the middle of the night and the householder heard the break in , but rather than confront him just whispered from the top floor, down to the kitchen every 10 seconds " what are you doing? , what are you doing?" - transpires after the conviction the thief admitted that he was high at the time, and fled empty handed because he thought he could hear a ghost....
PS we had an attempted break last week, and 2 came tooled up to break into my garage, and masked up for the CCTV, however a couple of barks from my dog, sleeping in the kitchen and i thought i had footage of usain bolt the speed they ran off...
