I have a Loryta B5442e bullet cam I am getting ready to install in a tree. I bought Cat6 Outdoor Ethernet Cable (150ft) 23AWG Pure Copper, FTP, LLDPE, Waterproof, Direct Burial, In-Ground, UV Resistant, POE, Network, LAN, Internet, Cable with connections. If I run out in the attic can I use a coupler or something to finish the run with non in-ground solid copper heavy duty cable to my poe/switch? Thanks in advance for your time.

Yes,
or Yes but...
You're gonna get a lot of opinions on that.
A coupler will work if your not possessing cable terminating tools....
people will warn you about the cam getting zapped with lighting or surges from nearby lightning.
the camera will operate....
No money back garuantees here....
just used one for a couple hours Wednesday to config a cam

Some junction is OK and switching cable type won't hurt anything. As long as done right at least. Actually better in some ways. Saves you some money, easier to run inside, and that heavy stuff is kind of a pain plugging directly into your main switch.

If it runs out in the attic then should be good for a while. Unfortunately I have a few like that before I knew any better. No problems after over 2 years but will rewire nonstop if they fail.
