I was asked if there is a way to create a time lapse video of a large building that will be built on a campus that I already have a security system installed on. As luck would have it I have two outdoor cameras pointed in the direction with very clear views of the construction site. They are connected to a Dahua DVR Tribrid. I was poking around on the snapshot settings but unclear on how I can do this without some kind of event being set. So here is my two questions, has anybody done this before and If so once you have all your pictures collected of a timeline, what program would you use to stitch them together for a time lapse video. I suppose I could add a external drive to the DVR for a path to store the pictures. If I needed a third party program to do this I could add another computer to the network to do so. I looked through Smart Pss but did not find much that looked promising to help me do this. Any suggestions would be helpful.
