I believe they are called bullet cams. Model B01POE-3MPL-A and similar. Have 1 that is about 5 years old that works on power up but stops after a while. Haven't had any trouble with the others and they image quality is acceptable. Wondering if I should be replacing them with somewhat better cameras. One thing that would be nice is being able to turn off the night IR and use a separate IR source to reduce issues with spider webs although not a huge issue. How would I coordinate the camera switch from daytime color to night b/w with the IR source? or just leave he IR on all the time?

Most separate Ir Illuminators, have a dusk to dawn sensor that will turn it on and off based on light.

I would hope so - it's about 4x the cost. Am I out of line to think I can get a descent cam for around $100? It also is a completely different mounting - I have several on outside walls. Would be great to get something with similar mounting. The models have changed a bit over time but these are like what I have:
