Custom Camera Manufacturer for NVR32CH-16P-2AI

Hello all, new to the forum! After immense research and most of it thanks to this forum I have just finished installing 12 IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 all connected to the NVR32CH-16P-2AI NVR from Empiretech. So far so good and a massive upgrade from my 10+ year old Dahua setup.

One question I have is my old Dahua NVR allowed for custom camera manufacturer when adding cameras manually. I like to use the stream of my Reolink doorbell from my Frigate server rather than streaming directly from the doorbell itself (to minimize connections). However with this new NVR I cannot seem to find a custom manufacturer option in the drop down. After some research it looks like it was dropped in recent FW updates but can be added with a custom FW? Not sure about that part. Is it even possible to add custom cameras anymore?

If the NVR would accept a custom camera stream what URL would you use from the Frigate server for the Reolink doorbell?

I would be using this rtsp url: rtsp:/192.168.8.85:8554/front_doorbell

Have you contacted @EMPIRETECANDY to ask about a possible f/w upgrade or downgrade that will provide the ability to use a custom URL on the NVR32CH-16P-2AI ?

That was gonna be my next step! Was just making sure it wasn’t a setting buried somewhere deep in the layers of settings
