Hi,
NVR is D-Link DNR-4020-16P, but camera is DCS-4602EV (HW version A). That camera, actually that hw version, is not supported for this NVR, hw version B is supported and camera with that hw version works ok.
Is there any chance to make it work, by using rtsp protocol or something like that?
The camera works in web browser, I can connect to its IP and access to camera by Web GUI,
Rtsp stream works too (tested in VLC player), but I couldn't make it work in NVR. NVR finds IP of the camera but status is "failed to connect", Tried to connect camera to POE port, tried to connect it to switch with separate power adapter, but nothing helped.

There in no that option at NVR. I just see red dot that, when I point mouse on it, says "network connection failed"... When I click on network status it shows dashed green line for that POE port, that means connecting... I think that NVR already uses latest firmware, but newer firmware probably wouldn't help with older camera. A camera uses latest firmware for that hardware version.
It worked with PC and (I think) software D-ViewCam. Now, my friend got used NVR, but those cameras cant be connected.

But thank you anyway!

It may be time to upgrade the cams then... D-link tries to " lock you in" to their product line.
I went in another direction with DVR/NVR after i was limited by D-links products.

Well, I finally make it connected via RTSP protocol. Used switch and power adapter for camera, so I could access to the camera directly and change settings, but later I had connected camera regularly to the POE port of NVR.
Encoding options for that channel are not available, but it shows video.
If I want to change video setup for that channel/camera I need to turn off DHCP for that camera and access directly to the camera by IP address and web GUI.

Now, there is another problem. It shows video for about 20 seconds and disconnect. After that I cant connect camera to the NVR, I need to restart camera to make it connected again.

Any idea, video settings or something else?

It was the only camera connected to the NVR, but the NVR was connected to the TV by HDMI.
