Dahua Cam IPC-HFW3241E-SA forgets settings

Hey Guys,

basically i am happy with my Dahua Cam IPC-HFW3241E-SA. But for the Substream 1 the cam always reverts from H.265 codec back to mjpeg codec after a while... I dont understand for what reason the cam reverts my setting, when i enable H.265 or H.264 it says "successfully saved". Someone can explain how to workaround that issue?

Are you using Internet Explorer? These cams are browser sensitive and some options won't stick if another browser is used. Not Chrome or Edge with the IE tab, but plain ole Internet Explorer baked into Windows 10.
