I recently acquired Dahua camera in subj. and trying to set up NAS storage on my synology.
Synology provides nice interface for cameras but this one is not supported and can't be added via ONVIF so I am using browser client.
Process of adding NAS storage is not great, you enter protocol and path and hope it will work, there is no feedback, no errors, no logs, not even uptodate manual.
On save it always give success message but never saves anything in the NAS folder.
I tried NFS and SMB protocols, I tried ip synology_server_local_ip
ort_number and without port number
, tried path with slash /volume2/1 and without volume2/1
My file system on NAS is btrfs if it matters.
DSS software installs server on local PC, so also doesn't have NAS option
Any help is appreciated, I have a couple of weeks to try to set it up before I can return this camera
