Dahua DMSS app does not show all cameras

Hello everyone,

I installed the DMSS app a few days ago. I have 5 camers, visual and active on monitor and smartpss. The DMSS app only shows 2 of the 5 cameras and can't figure out why. These 2 are working fine on the app.

I started with adding the NVR, shows only the 2 cams. can't add the other cameras manualy, app claims-suggests that the device isn't initialized (LAN?) or need to use the conf. method...

So need to be a network issue, everything else is working fine?

Are the 3 cameras being recorded by the NVR? Are they connected to the NVR directly?

Hello, everything seems to be the same, all cams are initialized, are live and can be seen on monitor

Are you connecting to the NVR in DMSS via wifi (LAN IP) or using serial number or QR code to connect via P2P?

Have you actually logged into the 3 cameras directly? They do need to be initialized.

Yes logged in directly. Very strange to see everything is working perfectly today, WITHOUT doing anything extra between now and posts here above... I realy don't get it...

I’ve seen cameras take 20+ minutes to register on an NVR. Patience.
Also, use the Web GUI from now on not the direct machine interface

When I used dmss, I recall it had a preference for onvif cameras. I had to do some tricks to get my non-onvif door station to display, even though it was a dahua product. I don’t think I ever got it to display off-brand chinese board cameras.
