I am running a 16-channel Dahua DVR HCVR7816S. This DVR is configured for coax cameras (CVI) and a couple IP cameras. In the current DVR setup camera channels 1 - 14 are CVI and the last two are for IP. I currently running 4 CVI cameras and two IP cameras. When I connect the DVR device in Smart PSS it shows only the first 14 channels. Those are the CVI channels. Channels 15 and 16 are missing. The Dahua configuration, as shown in SMART PSS, shows the IP cameras as "remote". I just can't see them in the channel list. I can add the IP cameras as separate devices but then I don't have the recorded video as that is on the Dahua DVR. All cameras can be viewed/played back directly on the Dahua DVR console. I don't know if this is a Dahua or Smart PSS problem. I have updated to the most current firmware for the Dahua and the latest Smart PSS release. On a side note, on my smartphone I run GDMSS connected to the Dahua DVR. I see both the CVI and IP cameras.
The only option I see here is to run PC-NVR on the PC to record video from the IP cameras. That defeats the purpose of having the Dahua DVR!
Anyone have any ideas why SMART PSS is not listing all 16 channels from the Dahua?
