Hi, I'm new of this forum.
Recently I've been installed two HAC-HDBW2802R-Z and one PTZ SD42212I-HC Starlight cameras.
The second one works perfectly during the nigth: I can see colors also in very poor ligtht conditions (I've never seen IR led on).
The two HAC-HDBW2802R-Z switches to IR in very high ambient light (at 7 pm they alredy are in IR mode).
Just to make a test I pointed a light beam to the camera at let say 10 pm (very poor ambient ligth), the IR turned OFF and objects colours were visible.
Is there a way to set these cameras to Starligth mode?
Cameras are connected to a Dahua XVR7104HE-4KL-X DVR.
I've not been able to find a camera setup menu.
Thanks in advance for your help!

The PTZ is 2MP and likely more sensitive, the other two are 8MP and while higher resolution wont likley do quite as well in the dark.

As to accessing the camera menus, open the DVR using the web login,
Click on a camera and bring it up in the view area
Then select the arrow shown and expose the drop down tab marked "PTZ menu".
Clicking on the center button will reveal the OSD menu for the camera

Hi Bigredfish,
thanks a lot for your help, very usefull indeed!
I'd like to ask you some other questions:
  1. While I was on holiday I got the communication lost: I had access to my DVR, the video download started but I couldn't get the imagine.
When I came back home I had to manually turn off and on again the DVR to get the communication back.
Is it possible to remotely restart the DVR in order to recover the situation?
  2. Two days ago we had a 10 min black out. The DVR shut off and it didn't come back. I had to push the On button on the DVR panel. Is it normal?
Thanks again.
Have a nice weekend.
Franco

Sorry, Ive not had that problem Franco. When a power outage occurs my DVR's come back on with the power...

Only remote way I know of to reboot is through the web interface, you would simply need to know your IP address if port forwarding, though its better to use a VPN on your laptop to access the DVR remotely...

There are other ways to reboot via special equipment hooked up to the power supply of the DVR but Im not familiar with that process.
