hello everyone. After using the search I found some topics about the reset button on some Dahua camera's. Some camera's do need a reset via the 2 'holes' when button not present.

I own 4 HDBW3441 camera's. It seems that these cams don't even have these 2 holes to hard reset. Is that possible? For some strange reason I can't use the DMSS app to scan the qr code and reset the cameras, so I am running out of options I guess.

Thanks for helping me out! Greetings from Belgium

So your camera was built April 2023 and might be one of the type of cameras that don't come with a Reset Button and requires password reset from Email by accessing the cameras webui and clicking on Forgot password. Then with the email that was setup they would send you a code back to unlock the camera.. However it might have a Reset button just not on the pictures that you have posted. Looking at the incoming wiring it don't seem there is one on the Wire Bundle. Yet I might not see all wire connectors. I only see one of Mic and the Main wire in. There might be more on other parts of the PCB that I can't see. However if I can see a picture of the other side of the Micro Sd Slot, Right now seems like I see the back of the slot, Also picture of the 4 side of the PCB meaning with the Mic on the left right now I see it on the right that would show all 4 sides of the PCB.. next and rare but I do have some cameras with the Reset button on the Cameras head it self. Very small and hard to spot if not looking for it it would be easy to over look it.. I would also double check the head of the camera. Not front Lens side but the back and side close to the area where the PCB would be mounted in the cradle.

Don’t forget to power with an adapter outputting at least 2 amps when you do the hard reset. A lot of the time it won’t actually reset on POE or even 12v if under 2amps.
