Hello, I had an intercom system composed of VTH1550, VTNS1060A and VTO2000A. The VTO has died due to water problems so I wanted to replace it with the new VTO2202F-P. Some vendors told me that this VTO is compatible with my VTH, just need to flash a sip firmware because newer dahua intercom devices works only on sip.
Now I have found this link (Video Intercom - Dahua Wiki) and it seems that there are 2 sip versions, sip and sip2.0, (the second one comes with newer devices). That link says that generation 1 devices are not upgradable to sip 2.0 and that generation 1 and 2 devices cannot be mixed. I assume (but didnt find any document about this) that the VTO2202F-P comes with a sip 2.0 firmware so it seems not to be compatible with my VTH1550CH, meanwhile it seems to be compatible with VTH1550CH-S (which is generation 2). What do you think?
