Hello,
I have a basic question about your Dahua XVR and NVR devices.
My recorder is in a location that has a static fixed public IP address.
If I have deactivated P2P, the IVS push messages do not arrive, only SMD messages arrive when I switch them on as a test.
I have created incoming port forwarding in the router for:
TCP 39001 (as a replacement for 37777)
TCP 39002 (as a replacement for 80)
TCP 39003 (as a replacement for 443)
I have the following devices in operation under the static public IP address:
For all these devices (NVR, IPCAM directly) I have subscribed to SMD, IVS Intrusion and IVS Tripwire on 2 smartphones and SMD, IVS Intrusion and IVS Tripwire are set correctly on the NVR
When I compare it in parallel with SmartPSS Lite (latest version), the IVS rules flash red.
On any smartphone with DMSS app:
Camera (IP) Dahua IPC-HDW3441T-ZS-S2 - always sends the push messages 100%, even if P2P is off.
Recorder (coaxial) Dahua XVR5108HS-4KL-I3 - sends the push messages SMD correctly when P2P is off (this is correct behavior is far as I know). When I turn P2P on, the status message says “Offline” and the IVS arrive correctly. However, if I switch P2P off, IVS push messages no longer arrive.
The recorder (IP) Dahua NVR5208-EI is also connected to the same static public IP address. THIS IS WHERE MOST OF THE PROBLEMS OCCUR. The NVR sends the push messages SMD correctly to the smartphone when P2P is off. If I switch on P2P, switch off SMD and switch on IVS, the status message says “Offline” and the IVS arrive correctly, BUT ONLY FOR AN UNDETERMINED TIME, after which no more push messages are received on the smartphone. The messages only reappear on the smartphone after the camera has been restarted (not after the recorder has been restarted) and stop again after an unspecified time.
I have already contacted different members of the Dahua support team and everyone told me different "steps to solve this", some of these recommendations were contradictory and had no logic. It seems to me that the manufacturer is overwhelmed by this.
Is it technically possible to receive push messages (IVS Tripwire, IVS Intrusion) on the smartphone if I have set up the smartphone via public IP e.g. 80.128.x.x and port 39001 and subscribe to the IVS rules if I have disabled P2P?
Do you have any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks for any help.

On any smartphone with DMSS app:
- no Dahua account, because devices that are integrated locally cannot be transferred to the Dahua account anyway
- 2 separate admin users have been created for the 2 smartphones with DMSS app, because I read somewhere that it would otherwise cause problems if SMD/IVS subscriptions were made on different devices with the same account.
