Hello,
Looking for advise. I have a Dahua NVR 5232-16P-4KS2E that after a recent shut down (power outage) although NVR sits behind a UPS. The NVR fails to save and pull configuration file after the NVR is either shut down or reboot. NVR simple defaults back to factory default settings, so it needs to be re-configured everytime. NVR is currently running latest firmware, but when it initially happen was on previous firmware.
The question is, any idea of a possible remediation to this issue. If no resolution is found I plan on replacing unit altogether with a new one, however it just occurred to me that the culprit could be the HDD? anyone know where the configuration file is actually saved, if on HDD or does the NVR have some sort of internal storage for configuration settings? TIA
