Got a couple questions for you guys.

Is there a way to keep the web browser up with view of cameras all the time ?

Dahua NVR NVR5216-16P-4KS2E

Thanks

If I recall it will time out after 60 minutes...

I use SmartPSS and keep it open on a second screen for many hours at a time, if I'm home around the house, all day.

The only way to do an 'always on' display from the NVR is by using the HDMI or VGA outputs. These are always on. You can use the HDMI output to connect to a TV if you use something like an HDMI over Ethernet setup, or even with a reasonable length HDMI cable.

SmartPSS as bigredfish said, is the best way to do it on a PC. I also, open this up and leave it running for many hours at a time

You dont have to do anything. Download & Install SmartPSS on a pc and launch the program.. cameras will remain showing as long as you leave it open. The default is to show the substream on each camera you choose to display so not huge bandwidth. The nice thing is you can double click on any camera window and get the full size full resolution image when you want, and you can even click one button and get 5 minute instant replay on any camera you have open. SmartPSS also allows you to manage a lot of the functions of your NVR and many functions of the cameras themselves.

I usually monitor 4 NVR's and 18 cameras when I'm home at my desk on a separate PC/monitor while I use my laptop primarily for work stuff and posting on IPCamTalk!

Running an HDMI cable to a TV is an option as @weigle2 mentioned. Then its just a matter of switching to that HDMI input on your tv from your remote.

Yep, there's 3 or 4 older versions out there, each has its own little quirks, I'm running 2.02.1 which seems the most stable, but havent tried that latest version..
