Yes, usually it just works. But I’m not sure why it says no record.Search how and on what? The NVR ? Using AI search?

I would have to do a search on here.Which camera model?
Which camera model?
Ideally somebody responding would have the exact camera model. Just about everybody here has higher end cameras, but this one is close enough that its behavior should be similar to the more common cameras here. I don't see that you've stated if you're searching on the camera itself or an NVR. On each one there are a few things that have to set up correctly, that recording is enabled, and that the time plan is correct. In my experience the default time plan is usually ok, but the record enabling might not be set up by default.DH - IPC - HDW2431TMP - AS - S2
ALL of the below must be set
Dont set anything except the recording on the NVR> ALL settings should first be done on the camera GUI itself
- Smart Plan enabled on camera
- On camera IVS rules drawn and saved and each has the "record" box checked or in the new UI, Event Linkage - "Record" enabled
- STOP- make sure by having someone go outside while you watch the live screen on the NVR with IVS rules turned on, that when they pass the IVS line, it flashes red
- On NVR- Under Storage - Schedule must be set for that camera/channel to include "Intelligent" or Smart type for that proper time/day
- On the NVR - Unde Storage -Record Mode must be set to enable Main Stream and Snapshot for that camera/channel
- On the NVR- Go to AI/AI Search, choose IVS and the right channel, then Search
Are you viewing on the NVR LIVE screen?I’ve done all that but when I view the AI rule on the drive camera I can’t see any lines. Faulty camera perhaps?
