Hi all,

First post, long time reader...

Moved from a Blue Iris system to the stated NVR thinking it would be better, more reliable, better suited as that's all it's made to do.. well... I'm slowly getting there as far as the config goes and do prefer the interface designed for the purpose, I have one major gripe, wondering if there is a fix!?

I have 4 POE cam's setup, all with triggered MD - for reasons of family matters I need to check one camera every day, for all motion records (trying to catch someone breaking legal orders).

I select the camera to view, to view MD only, click the list view and I get for example, 4 'pages/lists' with the recorded motion, I start clicking through each one for a quick view..

Problem: if I'm scrolled down the list to a specific time, I double click to view the footage, the whole list jumps back to the top! The idea of being quickly able to click through each video becomes a tedious task when you need to memorise the video time youve just clicked, to have to scroll down each and every time to click on the 'next' one....

Please oh please tell me there is a fix or a rep on these forums with input to the firmware upgrades!

Would also be nice to have a small image of the clip like blue iris just to view a sample image, is this possible!? STarting to think I should have got a Hik... was the same price :-\ got the Dahua as 3 of my cams are Dahua.. hmm...

Thanks for reading! Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I have 2 of those exact NVR's and am able to double click a M event in the List view and nothing moves.....?

I would suggest trying one of two things
A- Try using the Pale Moon 32bit Browser, it plays well with most Dahua NVR's
B- Try downloading and using SmartPSS instead of the NVR itself for viewing/monitoring. I use it a lot and rarely get into the NVR unless I need to change a setting. SmartPSS is much easier to use for monitoring/reviewing

thanks bigredfish, smartpss looks like it may have been what I was looking for as far as doing this from a networked pc in the kitchen instead of in the cupboard!, thanks for your suggestions

Cool, glad to help.
Like any software it takes a bit to sort out, but Ive found it quite handy for monitoring and basic setting changes for Dahua NVR's.
