Yes OSD (on screen display) is associated with analog HDCVI cameras.
I had an XVR and a couple of CVI cams running up until last year. Never tried to use the OSD from the DMSS app though. Still have it connected to the network but turned off as I no longer use it.

Let me try and connect a CVI cam and see if my older version of DMSS can pull the OSD menu

No problems for me with the updated DMSS android app for the OSD of the XVR cameras via the iris + method.

@manjulabw MontavueGO2.0 was recommended in another thread. Best I can tell it’s basically just an older version of DMSS. Maybe give that a try before they update it
