Loving the Face Detection and Face Recognition on my NVR5208-8P-XI with a handful of IPC-5442 cameras. Ive added the Family mug shots to the Face database and silenced those alerts on DMSS and that works really well. Ive set the similarity at 80% and its amazingly accurate - regardless of wearing glasses or not, different glasses, hoodie or hat, day or night, in the car or walking the driveway etc.

I would like to add some smarts to the Stranger detection to identify that the stranger was last seen X days ago - ideally as part of the DMSS notification. Does anyone know if anything like this is possible?

If that stranger was last seen 14 days ago, maybe its the real estate agent doing a letter box drop and I should add him to the Face database. Or was that person casing my house etc.

Keen to hear thoughts on what others have done.

At least on my 5 series NVR, there is an option of 'passerby database'. Which detects a face, if not in a current data base then add to a new database named 'passerby'.
Then the NVR interface gives a counter of how many times this face has been seen (all time).

Then there is an entries frequency alarm for the passerby database.
In DMSS app I do not see this Entries frequency alarm setting. Maybe closest naming is 'People No. Alarm' but I think that's people counting in area rules.
