Dahua Thermal Stream going offline but Normal stream stays up

Hi,

Apologies this is my first ever post on here so bare with me!

I have a dahua camera which is causing me issues. On random occasions I lose the thermal stream for about 30 seconds whilst the normal stream stays online.

When viewing the playback at the time this happens there is no gaps in the recordings….stream 1 time continues however stream 2 continues playing but will jump 20/30 seconds ahead.

Stream 1 then over a period of a minute or so then catches stream 2 back up before they both sync time back together.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks

Your issues sounds like a problem with decoding on the recorder.... assuming this is being viewed from an NVR's monitor.
Try changing decoding strategy to 'real time' or 'general' in camera setup page.
