Hey Guys

Lots of guys ask for the Plugin will end to work on IE in 2022, i get the confirmed news from dahua, in 2022 will have all new firmware for upgrading to the web 5.0 one.
Right now the dahua 7 series and the dual PTZ @Wildcat_1tested all use web 5.0 now.

Looks beautiful than before.
So buy an updatable camera is very important. When i get the release, i will post here.
Here is a IPC-HFW7442H-Z for example.

Yeah, gui is definitely polished. Even if version 5 allows copy pasting the password in modern browsers like Chrome, firefox, edge that will be helpful instead of typing it ask the time.

Web5.0 is currently used for the following firmware names.
HX8(7)XXX-Darwin
HX7XXX-Darwin
HX8(7)XXX-PKFE-Darwin
HX8(7)XXX-FE-Darwin
HX8XXX-Nobel
HX8XXX-ANPR-Nobel
HF8XXXX-Fafnir
HX3XXX-Taurus
Darwin and Fafnir forAmbarella CV22 and hi3559av100
Nobel uses hi3519av100
Taurus is a new product I don't know what processor.

Interestingly, for the IPC-HFW3849T1-AS-PV and IPC-HFW3549T1-AS-PV cameras from the TIOC SMD Plus series, the Operation Manual appeared in the download for User Manual with this Web5.0 interface.

They are probably planning to update this new Web 5.0 interface with new firmware for all WinSense Serie 3 cameras in the near future...

Currently the 5 series still not relase it, they just test on some cheaper model to test it. Function no big difference, the web UI looks like NVR.

I don't know why they would return a camera that works and is one of the good cameras with a quality sensor of 1 / 1.8 ”?

The new WEB 5.0 will not bring you anything significant and will not improve much of the camera's performance, what WEB 5.0 brings is just a new menu layout but the performance itself will remain the same ... :wave:

Yes, currently all cameras we sell can work without plugin too on edge and chorme. And the most stable on firmware and settings. We cost around 2 years make them very stable.
Web5.0 on some 7 series last year, 1/1.8cmos ones are very good, but
those tioc cam not very good.

Yes that's right, TiOC cameras belong to the lower class of cameras (WinSense Series 3) with a weaker and smaller sensor than 1 / 2.8 ", while all WizMind cameras are higher class and have better and bigger sensors!

@EMPIRETECANDY ,

could you please ask Dahua, what I can do with my 5x SD59430U-HNI, from End of 2019, just 2,5 years old, which are EOL?

Because with MS edge I can see just a view buttons, not all, who I can see in MS IE.

That would be very nice.
