Hi again!
I solve almost all problems with my Dahua surveillance system (thanks to Bigredfish!).
There is still one thing that I cannot understand: in case of power outage my DVR doesn't restart.
It is immediate. I unplug the power and plug it back immediately: the power light stays off and to make it come blue again I must push the power button.
Why it doesn't come back automatically?
What could I do when I'm on travel or on holiday.
Is it indispensable to have a back up system (UPS)?

Thats odd, I have a mix of 5 DVR/NVRs and all come back by themselves after power is restored.

That said, I do have one 4208-8P-4KS2 that power comes back but the cameras do not re-initiate some of the time. I have to login to the NVR and login the cameras manually..

thanks again.
Today I made some tests removig and plugging back the power supply connector and the DVR started correctly every time.
I removed the power supply for a long period (>30min) and the DVR restarted correctly.
What it's strange is that we had recently two power outages (about 10 min) and it didn't restart.
Let me wait for the next one and see what happens...
