DahuaSunriseSunset with HFW5241E-Z12E = No worky?

I have an issue where sometimes the zoom will get out of whack, and I figured I'd give this a shot to always have it correct between day a night. But I can't get it to pull the current zoom

Anyone have a similar issue?

Have you try the IP and the port number ?

in my case I have it as IP:80

Tried that, no go

Also tried turning on HTTPS/SSL, still no luck

Try to restart the PC and the camera. Sometime simple restarts solves many things.

I'll give that a go later on, rebooting is kind of a pain

I can see the application reaching out on the correct NIC/Network

Up the number of seconds between sending commands on bottom right. Some of the Z12s are a little slow and wait to adjust zoom first and then focus, so if it sent the command too fast, then it misses it. And I know at least one here ended up doing a Task Scheduler to send the URL command a couple times during the night to to ensure it stuck.

What does the utility log say?

I just tried the other identical camera, and it works! Interesting. I'll have to compare the config, pretty sure they are the same though

So now one works, but not the other! Interesting

Weirdly it pulls the Sunrise and Sunset Day/Night names, but not the current zoom or focus
