Historically for my home and work I use a static WAN IP. I am installing a cam at a friends house (dynamic WAN IP). When using a service such as No-IP, I assume i just change the DNS settings in the cam, and then log into the address No-IP gives me with port number included and this will allow me to see the cam even though cam has a dynamic IP? This is rather new to me. Am i missing something or is this how it works basically? Seems like an easy way to view a cam when said cam is attached to a dynamic WAN IP.
