Hello everyone.
We are testing the following hardware.
Altronics S9109 - 4 Megapixel Fish Eye Lens Wi-Fi IP PoE Dome Camera
S9109 4 Megapixel Fish Eye Lens Wi-Fi IP PoE Dome Camera - Altronics
Altronics S9381 - 64 Channel 4K Network Video Recorder
S9381 64 Channel 4K Network Video Recorder - Altronics
Fisheye dome camera seems like an effective way to monitor and record an entire room with one camera.
Live view and Recordings are warped, please review this image for reference.
The hardware came with VMS Client and VMSLITE software on disc.
I've confirmed that I have the latest versions of the software from : Herospeed Technology Limited
Experimentation with vmslite shows that a live stream of video from the fisheye camera can be de warped and viewed in a traditional 2D mode. However playback of recorded video disables the de warping option.
Does anyone have any comments or suggestions about how to produce a de warped video from fisheye camera recordings from an NVR ?
Some possibly useful info.
Firmware on IPC and NVR appear to be by Herospeed.
