Hi,
A Dahua recorder suddenly stopped connecting remotely to the phone (possibly after a power outage).
The P2P mode is active and shows "Online."
When I ping google from it, I get a response.
When I try to connect to it with the wrong password, it shows an error (indicating there is communication), but with the correct password, it says there is a connection error.

The model is DHI-HCVR5116H-S2.

I upgraded the firmware, but it didn’t help.
I'm using the new DMSS app.

I would appreciate any suggestions on what can be done.

How old is the NVR and the firmware?

Dahua recently shut down older P2P servers due to vulnerabilities.

Yep, there seems to have been some security issues with old implementations of P2P on some NVRs and I think SmartPSS versions. Dahua shut them off

I can't be 100% sure butI dont think so. No FW available for the old HCVR's that I can find

I have an older 2017-2018 5216-16P-4KS2E that I was able to update to that and it works fine.

Back in the summer they began shutting off old implementations.
