Hi, wanted to ask help with Dahua DHI-NVR4108HS-8P-4KS2 previously (really a while ago, hence what firmware was tried is unknown) while upgrading firmware through interface from usb drive process failed and now unit is stuck at Dahua logo, restarting every couple of minutes, but not going further.
I know for a fact unit was working fine before failed firmware update.
I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting every cable outside and inside of the unit, hdd drive is not connected, tried pressing reset button, but nothing helps.
When connected through UART connection the fallowing can be seen in logs:
There are more information, but main thing is that bootloader etc is working find, but image is messed up and needs to be updated.
Here is a problem:
Unit is looking for update.img file on flash drive: no such file exist in any of the firmwares .bin files I found on dahua website, renaming firmware .bin to be update.img instead of update.bin doesnt work, also in all of the firmware folder for this exact model I found, Install.lua file seems to be corrupted, as when trying to extract it or open it goes to 0kb from whatever it's shown while in .bin archive or just straight up gives error.
Dahua support states that firmware for this model is currently unavailable and recommended trying different power supply and go to dahua rma/service center for inspection and repair.
If anyone has any ideas how to reflash firmware, where to get it or any other tips, would really appreciate
