I am new to NVR's and just installed my home system.

I have 2 static cams and 2 ptz's
The NVR is a DHI-NVR5216-16P-4KS2E firmware V4.002.0000000.6.R, Build Date: 15-11-2022

The 2 PTZ's are both DH-SD3E405DB-GNY-A-PV1 one has not been updated, the other is on the latest firmware.

I have done exactly the same with both and tried them mounted in the same position.
I create 4 preset's
1. the default position when it is first powered up
2. zoomed to the back corner of the garden
3. zoomed to the side gate area
4. the centre of the garden zoomed full out

when i set the ivs rules up I only set them on 2, 3 and 4.

preset 4 is the default view

Excuse my garden, I have only just moved in here so full renovation underway :)

for testing I am only setting up 1 intrusion rule now notice the right line of the box is almost on the slab line

now if i move between different presets and come back to 4 it is ok, it comes back to this exact position.
Now if I walk out the door (bottom left corner) and trigger the rule, the camera will track me until i come back in then return to the above home position this view. however it is not exact
it is as if the camera is now a pointing down a little too much.

This happens to both of the PTZ cameras

Now if I was to change position by using the presets again..
I will go to 1 then 2 then 3 and finally back to 4

as you can see the position is correct again,
is this a bug with the cameras ???

Any ideas if there is anything i can do to sort this ?

Thanks Much

After further testing, If i set another intrusion box by the rear shed at the top of the picture, when that box gets triggered the camera does return correctly to the home position.
so when the camea has to move down to the home position it is fine
when the camera has to move up to the home position, it is out.
this happens on both of the cameras.
