I have had some rather interesting results:
The first day after getting BI working was discovering a possum that kept harassing my garden. I live-trapped that one and re-located it.

A couple days later I saw on live feed, and was attacked by -the largest male raccoon I had ever seen! It was tangling with my cat so I had to intervene.
Twenty minutes of beating the tar out of that critter and he ran away never to be seen again.

I learned to ditch the use of a kitchen compost pile anywhere on my property.

That was the system's initial prototype stage..

One of the more memorable captures was a vehicle accident on the residential street directly in front of my house.
The police asked me for any video feed, which I was happy to provide a video clip and which resolved who was to blame and subsequent responses.
A cute Iranian chick had can-openerd the left front of her Prius after being blinded by the setting sun, narrowly missing two pedestrians who should have been walking on the nearby sidewalk, and sideswiping a pickup truckload of angry Oklahomans.
Eww, stuff happens I reckon.
The event triggered a melee between her daddy and some locals. Three vehicles and ten people involved, total. No shooting, fortunately.
He did clearly state that he did not like what his country was doing. I felt sorry for them.

One of my cams is watching a busy 4-way intersection with no stoplights and two stop signs, so whenever we hear a big EEERK and/or BANG -I go check the feeds.
It's usually two opposing lane vehicles turning left and the driver presuming the way is clear while they cannot be certain.
Occasionally a cop will drop by to ask if I have any video to share. If the involved drivers are bickering over who dun what.

Our neighborhood is fairly quiet and shenanigans-free. Well, except for the Harley crowd and fart-can rice burners.
Curiously so, since I have 4 cams watching the street from very prominent mounts.
Add to that fencing, spotlights and 'Beware of Dog' signs.. Makes for an un-welcome area to be avoided. Suits me fine.

I had some new windows put into my house. These have the IR block coating to cut the heating effects of the sun.
Works great, but also blocks any infra-red that my indoor PTZ cams were using to illuminate the yard. So I had to scrap those and replace with outdoor PTZ's.
Just saying.
