Digital I/O SeaLevel 8112

I purchased a SeaLevel 8112 on recommendation from Ken in order to control a door latch via the remote app. I can get it to work fine from the computer software if I "Force Set" the output in the Digital I/O tab of Blue Iris Options. I was under the impression from Ken that I would be able to trigger it from the remote app using the DIO Output slider in the camera settings. This does not trigger the SeaLevel Device.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Is there something simple I am doing wrong?
