Does anyone have any knowledge regarding the sensors in digital night vision rifle scopes? From this site, I know that generally speaking a larger sensor/pixel size is going to produce a better low-light image. As I'm researching digital scopes, all that is mentioned in the specs for different brands is resolution, i.e. optical detector with 2560×1440 resolution, or 3840×2160 detector. Emphasis is placed on higher resolution for better daytime images. None of the manufactures mention sensor size like I'm used to with IP cameras.
My goal is to have a digital night vision scope with the best low-light image without having to use an secondary IR source. Thermal is obviously an alternative, but not the direction I'd like to go. Thank you!

This topic is being monitored by the FBI, CIA, and the Secretless Service. A web is being spun and who will it catch. :nervous:

I started to see more videos on youtube about this. If I were looking into a night vision scope I would check to see how digital compares to analog. Just with my brief reading analog is still superior to digital.

This scope seems to sell out as soon as they get new stock in... Sony Starvis sensor.
I have 3 scopes from this company, but I know nothing about their night vision scopes.
