Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Digital Watchdog Compressor (DW-CPUHD16) Analog to IP Encoder?
I found one article on the web that indicated that although it's not technically an ONVIF device that they were able to communicate with it and view video using Onvif Device Manager.
I have a couple of these that I've been playing with but don't seem to be having the same degree of luck as the reviewer in that article. ODM does detect the device is there but doesn't seem to be able to communicate with it furhter than that, certainly not displaying any video.
I have been able to access the RTSP streams for the connected cameras by configuring them manually so I can really get by as-is. That said would make life easier if the cameras would just detect as ONVIF in my HIK NVR rather than my having to configure a custom (RTSP) protocol manually for each one of them.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
