Is there an option in the display settings to disable live audio in Dahua NVR2108HS-I2?
If yes, then can anyone post a screenshot of the same?
Thanks and warm regards.

No idea which version GUI you have but its usually in the Encode settings on the NVR for each camera

Actually I have enabled audio in encode settings which means that the camera will record both audio and video but while live viewing cameras through hdmi output on TV, I want to disable the audio from the camera.I want audio in recording but not in live view.

I see. Im not certain how via the HDMI output. I generally use SmartPSS which requires you to turn ON the sound per camera if you want it, otherwise no sound.
Turn off the sound on the TV?

Tv's mute button?
There is an option to disable live audio in display settings of dahua nvr but this option is available in selected models only. Therefore I wanted to confirm before buying NVR2108HS-I2.
A screenshot of Dahua Nvr User Manual is attached for your reference:IMG_6496.png

In live view, you shouldn't have audio coming through.
Unless you have enabled this 'talk' function on a specific camera.

Hover over the top centre of a video channel to see if it's blue (on).

In my NVR the two way audio function is turned off and greyed out.
If you are using NVR2108HS-I2 then can you please share a screenshot of the display settings?
Thanks and Regards.

The photo I showed is for every camera connected to your recorder. You may have accidentally turned audio on for one of the cameras.

The talk function is to communicate from NVR to output speaker.
There is an option in Display Settings to disable/enable live audio as in the screenshot shared by me in post #6

On my system... turning on the 'talk' function from the NVRs screen makes that specific camera's audio come out of the HDMI video's audio.
