the NVR5216-EI2 V5 firmware forces you to log into DMSS app if you are using P2P, as opposed to the NVR5216-EI running the V4 firmware. cloud p2p vs local ddns i guess. what i notice is that when i get alerts from the cams, i don't get the 2 images in the event notification in DMSS app, i get an image of the entire camera view but the second cropped image of the thing that triggered the alert is not present. if i use DDNS to access the cameras and get alerts, i get the camera view plus the cropped image of what triggered the alert.
is there any way to fix this? i like the fact you can pause alerts for a defined period of time on the P2P cloud account bound site but not seeing the cropped images of the event trigger is a deal breaker.
on the NVR5216-EI running the V4 firmware, either DDNS or P2P on DMSS will show you cropped images of what triggered the alert.
