i bought one IPC-T2431T-AS with 4mp and 1/3" sensor

Does anyone have a comparison between IPC-T2431T-AS vs 5442 series?
I am interested in a video in the same scene
I'm only interested in the daytime quality

If all you really care about is daytime, then you are fine. Almost any camera can look good in the daytime with enough light.

Sure there would be some differences during the day, but the major differences are at night when there is not enough light.

Do you think that the 5842 series with 8mp will look better during the day than the 5442 series?

Folks that have both the 5842 and 5442 say the 5842 is better during the day and the 5442 is better at night, which isn't surprising as it suffers from the same issues at night of trying to shove 4M more megapixels on the same size sensor.
