Does Hikvision DS-2CD4A25FWD-IZH running V5.4.5 170302 still support LPR/ANPR?

Is there a LPR firmware for DS-2CD4A25FWD-IZH on V5.4.5 170302 that will work? Camera started with V5.3.0 150513 but I accidentally upgraded to the that regular firmware first.
I know that the older LPR firmware V5.3.8 build 160126 will work but camera won't let me go back to any firmware past V5.4.0.
I already tried LPR firmware V5.4.3 161207 (which worked great on my DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZH), V5.4.5 170123 and V5.4.5 170519 with no luck.

Any ideas?

Resurrecting a very old thread here, I know, but I've just gone through this process with a DS-2CD4A26FWD-IZH and lost the traffic functions when trying V5.4.5 from HikEU downloads.
I don't understand this since the downloaded firmware came directly out of a folder quoting 'ANPR'; the same folder where V5.4.3 lives...?
Luckily, I could revert to 5.4.3 and retrieve traffic functions.
I tried this because the camera has no HLC support under V5.4.3 and was hoping it might be implemented in a later FW but I seem to have hit a wall.
Thought HLC was pretty important for ANPR...? Maybe I misunderstand....
