Hi
I see a lot of suggestions to avoid using dome cameras outdoors, with UV degradation of the dome often being cited as one of the reasons. I have a location where the most acceptable camera would be the Dahua wedge dome. I'd had the thought of using a UV protectorant on the dome, like you might use to prevent yellowing of car headlights.
Has anyone tried this or have experience with the Dahua wedge dome in a sunny area?
