Door Monitor DS-KH8350-TE1

My HikVision Door Monitor DS-KH8350-TE1 works fine: I can see image & can unlock the door.

I would like to add an outdoor HikVision IP camera to the door monitor, and need to reset the long-forgotten password on the door monitor.
The camera works fine.

I have used SADP and Batch Configuration tools to export XML file and get Tech Support.
Tech Support email a file with name xxxxxxxxxxxxxx_o1.xml which I import into the software, but get error Failed to reset password. Device denied.

I run software as administrator, firewall turned off, gateway and subnet masks are identical for my PC & door monitor. Ethernet cable connections, not WiFi.

Also, on the door monitor screen, there is a small icon SIP. When I click this, I get this error: Invalid SIP server IP address. Set SIP server address.

Are the 2problems related?
Any suggestions would be welcome, it is driving me mad.

Not sure why you have that error, but the problem with SIP server addess is not retaled
SIP is for making connections with PBX systems like Asterisk

I ended up connecting the HikVision PoE switch straight to my router (rather than 24 port switch) and the problem went away.
All working now!
