My HikVision Door Monitor DS-KH8350-TE1 works fine: I can see image & can unlock the door.
I would like to add an outdoor HikVision IP camera to the door monitor, and need to reset the long-forgotten password on the door monitor.
The camera works fine.
I have used SADP and Batch Configuration tools to export XML file and get Tech Support.
Tech Support email a file with name xxxxxxxxxxxxxx_o1.xml which I import into the software, but get error Failed to reset password. Device denied.
I run software as administrator, firewall turned off, gateway and subnet masks are identical for my PC & door monitor. Ethernet cable connections, not WiFi.
Also, on the door monitor screen, there is a small icon SIP. When I click this, I get this error: Invalid SIP server IP address. Set SIP server address.
Are the 2problems related?
Any suggestions would be welcome, it is driving me mad.
