I'm 84 yrs old and live in a large apt bldg for the elderly. I just installed a doorbell camera but have a problem with notifications. There are a dozen apts on my floor so the hallway is kinda busy. Having the camera notify my app every time someone walks past my door is annoying. Is there anyway to have it notify only when someone STOPS at my door?

I'm afraid it is just a cheap Blink device. But I might be willing to invest in a better camera if it will solve my problem.

The Lorex doorbell camera has "Motion Zones" that you can use to narrow the zone that will trigger an alert and will also alert when someone rings the doorbell. There are also no monthly fees unlike other doorbell cameras.
Don't think that would work. It would still notify when anyone walks by my door. I would need one that detects when someone stops facing my door. But thanks for the suggestion.
