Just to add. If you have CenturyLink as your internet provider, for $10/month they will give you a static IP address. You have to go through several layers of customer service representatives until they understand what an IP address is and what you mean by Static, but it’s possible.

Likely not a worthy expense for accessing your cameras, but if you have access your home network enough or can’t use dynamic DNS for whatever reason, it’s an option.

good future info to tuck away. It looks like there is a Century link jack crammed behind the work bench in my work shop at the Condo. The dmarc is 50 feet away on the next wall in the garage. I'll have to ask a tech someday to see if I can enable that old jack, and get my Century link acct. put to that address.
That would enable me to watch the Condo parking lots on Sat nites or see if "it's Amazon" or "UPS" at the call box / buzz in box at 8 pm at nite.
