DS-2CD2043G0-I Face Detection Not Working & What is Dual-VCA?

Dear Experts,

1. I suspect there is a difference between Face Detection and Facial Recognition. The later one might be advanced but my DS-2CD2043G0-I (running V5.6.6 build 210625) is not even detecting face. Although enabled under Smart Event, it has never been able to detect a single face among 8 IP cameras having same functionality enabled.
2. My 2nd question is regarding dual-VCA option. I have read some description in official Hik guides but was never able to understand. What does it do and is it beneficial to enable it on my NVR (DS-7608NI-I2 running V4.51.005 build 210628) under Video/Audio -> Display Info on Stream -> Enable Dual-VCA

Actually i found something interesting, I see face alarm captures under logs but cant see on Hik-Connect app. May be its issue with Hik-Connect app which do not receive/show notifications related to Face Captures but other notifications like Line Crossing and Intrusion Detection are appearing fine in app under notifications.

Oh well done for investigating further. Sorry I cannot assist further, perhaps someone else can assist. I gave up on installations of Hikvision some years ago in favour of Dahua.
