Ds-2cd2332-i / ds-2cd2335-i

Hey folks - I went looking to purchase a 2cd2332-i and saw that it has been replaced by 2cd2335-i ... am I seeing that correctly - should I purchase the 2cd2335-i now instead of the 2332?

What's a good, lowest price vendor to get this from? Anyone have a link?

Finally, I have a limited space to focus this on - it's the entryway of a front door - and was thinking that a 12mm lens would work well for a limited (8x8 foot) space (or would you just go with the std 4mm)?

If you are US then go to milkisbad and get a locally supported version.

2335-i hasn't replaced 2332-i, 2335-i is chinese-hacked with english firmware and not upgradable but does have the benefit of H265 but if you have an NVR this is pretty much useless.

12mm? How far away is the door. I think you need 4mm

I seem to recall having sent milkisbad a PM some time back and never received any response from him.

Either get a 2335 from Aliexpress or get a 2332 local from Nellys or similar. Don't buy any Hikvision from Amazon marketplace.
