I have a weird issue and tried downgrading the firmware to what is on Hikvision's website. Basically everything is fine except when I have the camera set to record to a network SMB it also does notifications on my iPhone with the EZViz Life app.
In the app if i turn off notifications it magically unchecks the checkbox for
Event -> Basic Event -> Enable Motion Detection
Model: DS-2CD2342WD-I (v5.3.6 build 151105 / plugin version v3.0.5.42 / web version v4.0.1 build 150915)
If i re-check it on the camera web page it turns back on notifications on my iPhone....
Why in the world is a remote app controlling if i'm recording or not?
