Is there a trick to focusing dome cameras? I had a 12mm lens in a DS-2CD2032F but decided to put that camera elsewhere due to spider issues and transferred the 12mm lens to a DS-2CD3132F. The issue I am having is every time I install the dome the image is completely out of focus. Cleaning the dome didn't make any difference. What am I doing wrong here, or is there a different lens I should use on a dome camera?
The lens in question is a PT-1218MP 12.0mm, F1.8 Mega Pixel CCTV Board Lens from M12 lenses.
Edit, may have just figured it out. Noticed in the frames I posted that the one with the dome installed is zoomed in slightly so I am guessing the nature of the dome makes it somewhat of a secondary lens itself.
