Bought a DS-2CD3310D-I off AliExpress - intention was to run it inside just whilst away so didn't need to be great, as outside cameras are better.
First of all I didn't realise it wasn't PoE, but solved that with a 12v plug I had lying around.
Then it turns out it's Chinese Firmware V5.3.0 build 150513, which doesn't connect to my EZVIZ account (for the other three cameras I already have).
I also can't seem to telnet into it (and Telnet doesn't show up in settings) so can't do the hack to change EZVIZ server, as the serial number just says it's not online.
Apparently the other custom firmware downgrades don't work for this model either...
Thoughts? I'm sure I've probably missed something obvious, but am considering just cutting my losses and ordering a different model with Multi Language Firmware.
