I just bought a DS-2DE2A404IW-DE3 / PTZIP204WX4IR 4MP dome cam and am trying to set up a Patrol even though the firmware doesn't seem to support it. I am therefore using iSpy PTZ Scheduler. I have set up the schedule to load Preset 1, Preset 2 etc repeatedly, however nothing happens when those times come and pass.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I might be missing here?
PTZ in iSpy works fine manually, but not via Scheduler.

The answer is that iSpy also relies on the camera's internal firmware for this, so it doesn't work if the camera doesn't support it. Thought it managed it through it's own service but that's not the case.
