Hey guys, I am trying to set this thing up and I'm in a little over my head on it. My goals are the following..
Patrol my front yard
Follow detected persons
Setup Synology Surveillance Station to only record events detected by the camera
I setup a intrusion detection box around my driveway and yard, and it seems to work, but the camera does not follow the detected person, is that possible? The patrol feature is fairly confusing for me. I setup the schedule under PTZ to patrol, and then setup some way points in the live view area but and it won't let me set the patrol time under 120 seconds...and the scheduled task keeps turning off. Basically I want it to continuously pan back and forth looking for people inside the barrier.
I have the camera setup in Synology, but it seems to be recording everything currently. I also am not sure if the camera is supposed to "push" events to Synology or if Synology simply taps in to the cameras configured events.
