DS-HD1 Is HOT

Has anyone noticed if their HD1 doorbell unit gets HOT?

I was testing mine today. I left it wired-up and sitting in a chair and noticed the backside got hot. My temp gun measured it around 125F.

It is running the latest firmware and is working fine.

Yeah, we have all experienced they run hot. Highest Temp. I recorded was 140F, around the Camera/Lens area...But I have had our Hikvision DB since Summer of 2019, this will be it's third summer, still going strong...

mine does too, 130F, but lately the mechanical chime has died again and nothing seems to bring it back. I keep thinking about how much energy it takes to maintain an object the size of that camera at that temperature - and how much a year I am paying for that energy.
