Currently have about 45 cameras running on a system with a Xeon processor comparable to an i7 7700k and 32GB of RAM. The system runs at about 80% cpu load constantly, with spikes up to the low 90s whenever I click on a camera etc. If I upgrade to a dual CPU system will Blue Iris be able to make use of those resources?

I just happened to have a ton of extra xeons laying around, but if you think using two won't make a difference, I'll bite the bullet and get a good i7.
Hate to tell you this but i7-7700K is already the best CPU you can get for Blue Iris, since it is the fastest CPU with Quick Sync.
